Lessons I Never Seem To Learn

  1. There is no such thing as a “bad texter.” There are only people who choose not to prioritize your feelings over their own selfish needs.
  2. No response is a response. In the day and age of mass-condoned cowardice, where lack of words and literacy is better, “edgier” than using them, people say “fuck no” by saying nothing.
  3. Anger is not a useless emotion. I can’t get behind Buddhist idealism that we can just stop being angry and life will be good. Anger allows us to reconfigure our perspective to reality. Reality is that no matter how zen you are, you will get hurt. That’s what life is.
